BUHARI: Are there no competent Doctors in Nigeria ?- Joi John

Frankly, I’m tired of all these pictures from London.  While receiving his visiting media team on Saturday, Buhari said he was only obeying orders from his doctors to stay back in London. Nigerian protesters are demanding President Muhammadu Buhari either resume his job as president or resign, after more than 90 days of absence.

Each year, we celebrate the best graduating medical students.  We also have a functional State House Clinic that gets funded heavily. Are there no competent Doctors who can care for President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria while he recuperates?

    1. Suleiman U Abubakar, Joi has been tentatively taken up north 😊. I hope the dude involved takes this opportunity seriously before any South Eastern admirers put a stop to it😎😎😎

  1. Please what is the difference between a waster and a looter? PDP looted our money, APC are wasting our money to go on pilgrimage to London just to see Buhari,,,, God must punish you all

  2. They’re doing rehearsal. See, they’re even clapping for him as per ‘he got it this time around’. They must have injected into him many chemicals and now operating him like robot. It’s a pity my President, your handlers are very wicked. May God bring you back hale and hearty to complete your tenure.

  3. Why didn’t the President use this golden opportunity to talk to Nigerians? The only thing I heard was ‘you’re all everywhere’ and ‘I see you everywhere in the press’. If all is rosy as they claim, let him talk on camera like Lai and Abike Dabiri did.

    1. Lol…even if he addresses Nigerians as Abike did…will those who don’t wish him well believe it? Won’t they still say it was a voice make over? Abegi, we have an acting President with all the powers of a President. Let Bubari get clearance from his doctors biko!

  4. While millions of children are dying due to lack of immunization and malaria, retirees are dying of hunger, our graduates are jobless, our president is somewhere in London showing no remorse in addressing numerous challenges facing Nigeria as a nation .

  5. We want to know how much is his medical bill and what is his diagnosis since we Nigerians are paying his bills , while Lots of children in Nigeria are dying due to lack of immunization and malnutrition , our president is in London spending millions of pounds while receiving treatment in London , instead of building international standard hospitals in Nigeria, train our doctors and nurses in Nigeria. In United States Nigerians are the best in healthcare : we have the best nurses, therapist, doctors name it . PMB’s health is not more important than millions of Nigerians that are dying due to preventable health issues in Nigeria. Let us come together to rebuild our healthcare system in Nigeria.

  6. I think we should start praying for Nigeria in Distress.

    All powerful and merciful Father, You are the God of
    Justice, Love and Peace. You rule over all the Nations
    on earth. Power and Might are in Your hands and No
    one can withstand You.
    We present Our country Nigeria before You. We praise
    and thank You for You are the source of all We have
    and are. We are sorry for all the sins We have
    committed and for the good deeds We failed to do. In
    Your Loving forgiveness, keep Us safe from the
    punishments We deserve. Lord, We are weighed down
    not only by uncertainties, but also by moral, economic
    and political problems.
    Listen to the cries of your people who confidently turn
    to you. God of infinite goodness, Our strength in
    adversity, Our health in weakness, Our comfort in
    sorrow, Be merciful to Us Your people. Spare this
    Nation Nigeria from chaos, anarchy and doom. Bless
    Us with your kingdom of Justice, Love and Peace.
    We ask this through Christ Our Lord, Amen.
    In God is Our Future and Hope.
    Nigerians for Nigeria!

    1. Really so it’s no more about governance it’s now about law breaking. In other words the president of a sovereign state is relaxing in another country waiting for next election while his people are half past dead. APC change is real.

  7. But on a more serious note, I do feel for Buhari. Wish he can help himself by stepping aside. This age is the period he supposed to be relaxing in the comfort of his home and playing with his grandchildren. He should be counting his blessings by now. But unfortunately, he has allowed himself to be enslaved by the trappings of power. It is obvious he can no longer withstand the stresses and strains of being the president of a complex nation as Nigeria. He should hearken to the voice of wisdom and step aside. This is necessary if he is to stay a bit longer on this planet.

  8. The action of the president is an insult and downgrading act to the country and her citizens. A man of his experience and age should know that leadership by example has been a major setback in our country. Why allocate billions to the state clinic when its not serving any purpose? How do our doctors and medical staffs get proven and recognised when they are seen as amateurs by people entrusted with boosting their profession? .
    Mr president thinks he is doing us a favor by ‘clinging’ to power despite his failing health,he is not in anyway.
    We have never had SELFLESS leaders in this country,the actions of baba Buhari has proven it,African leaders are after power and control not leadership.
    The fault is mainly ours,the governed. We manage and pray over every situation instead of acting objectively. 2019 is around the corner,millions will be fooled again.

  9. I still imagine how dis man became the president of Nigeria…? But I respect him a lot for being the president of trouble Nigeria. We all discuss politics everyday online but his d one playing it in real life.

  10. Yes we have competent doctor in Nigeria but they are not residing in d country, and if there is any u knw in Nigeria, u can name him and tell us any patient he has treated of chronic illness succesfully. and i dnt mean Malaria or typhoid disease oh. Or u mean like the one that suggest a baby that is a live in her mother’s womb dead and end up pulling the baby arms off. he is so very conpetent. And is it only Buhari that goes out of country for treatment, How abt people that their wives goes out of country to deliver their Baby. Oga abeg discuss another important matter.

  11. His being in London is a strategic part of the change agenda by:

    (1) promoting Made in Nigeria and exports….he is taking made in Nigeria drugs;

    (2) Fighting corruption….monitoring our leaders who want to take money abroad, our leaders are now careful what they do in London as the President’s eyes are on them;

    (3) Promoting home made tourism on the global stage, by being in London…. rather than visit monuments and shopping, you visit the President, thus also conserving scarce foreign exchange;

    (4) Foreign relations and relationship management, by creating easy access to investors and maintaining our relationship with the Commonwealth and the British;

    (5) Saving his life from the direct pressures of office and yet not being in the way for effective governance by the Vice from delays that may be occasioned were he around to steer affairs, as everything would keep reverting to him.

    The impact of the above cannot be overemphasized, while also receiving treatment.

    Hence as human beings, let us all join hands to wish him well, the everyday hassles of running Nigeria back home is too much based on his health, we can support him in these roles as we forge on to a better Nigeria and the next elections.
