Senator Elisha Abbo and the Beacon of Hope Award – Joi John
I woke up to the news that Nigerian Senator, Elisha, Abbo was presented with the Beacon of Hope Award. The lawmaker representing Adamawa north received the award at the 4th edition of the Adamawa Celebrities and Achievers Awards (ACAA) which held in Yola, Adamawa state capital.
I asked myself, Beacon of where please? Which “Hope” are we talking about? The same Senator who was caught on camera assaulting a woman at a sex toy shop in Abuja. I recall my exclusive interview with Senator Abbo after that incident. He was NOT remorseful! This was even after he granted a press conference. I can’t understand how this Award is deserving. Oh my beloved Naija! Where do we go from here? 🤦🏽♀️
