International Criminal Court denies rating Buhari high on Integrity.

Contrary to what Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin told us the other day, the International Crimes Court has denied rating Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari on integrity. Speaking as a guest on Channels, the lawmaker said Mr President showed him a document he brought back from ICC, Hague. A top-secret Background Check on Global leaders, past and present. He added that Buhari was the only leader rated XXX1 on Integrity, the Highest Rating Globally and that was why he happened to be the only World Leader on the ICC floor to address them. Shortly after that interview by Jibrin, President Buhari’s team of well wishers hit town with the news shaking every table in sight.

Anyway, Daily Times reached out to the ICC for comment and to my dismay, the Court spokesperson , Fadi El Abdallah flatly denied the claim. He said over 30 states were invited but they sent representatives at the level of national Senates and Parliaments chiefs, as well as Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Justice but it was only our President that insisted on showing up himself🤦🏽‍♀️

♦️“The International Criminal Court (“ICC” or the “Court”) is not involved in any integrity or background check of world leaders”. President Buhari was not the only leader invited to the event but Nigeria was the only State represented by its President.” – ICC spokesperson♦️

Daily Trust reached out to Femi Adesina at the Presidency and he referred them back to Abdulmumin Jibrin.
